Calibrating a Slug Pellet Applicator

Set aperture to the approximate rate	-	put 1 kg of slug pellets in the spreader hopper
Drive Quad to a chosen constant speed	-	switch on the applicator and start timing in seconds
Maintain the constant speed	-	stop timing when the applicator is empty

Input SECONDS to use 1kg of product

Input BOUT WIDTH metres

Input SPEED kph



KGS/HA being applied at the above settings

If the KGS/HA is not suitable, small adjustments can be made to the SPEED then re-test

If you wish to keep your chosen SPEED make small adjustments to the APERTURE then re-test
